7.23.08//HARDCORE 101 GRAND OPENING!!

Our friends and sponsor Hardcore 101 will be opening a new store right on 4th Ave. in between Che's Lounge and Bisen Wiches and we will be doing an in store performance to celebrate the opening day (Aug. 1st.). The show will feature us, Animus Divine and The Diversion Program and is from 9pm to 2am. It's all ages and is going to be a blast, see you all there!

6.04.08//CHIMAIRA SHOW, New Music??

Hey there kids, we better see all you crazy motherfuckers out at Rialto Theater next Monday to see us open up for Chimaira! We have tickets for $12 if you want to save some money so contact the band through MySpace to pick those up!

Our first album 'What Hides in Dreams' is almost completely out of print, you can still find it in some stores, but we ourselves are completely out. We are still writing music for the new disc so please be patient, in the meantime you can hear the new songs live and you can check out a few of them on our MySpace. See you Monday!!

So what has happened in the last couple months? Well we played with Otep and Eyes Set To Kill last week, also we played Flagrante Delicto's CD release at Club Congress. What's happening next? We are opening the Chimaira show at Rialto on June 9th, it's gonna be all ages and it's gonna rule, hit us up for tickets! That's all for now...

3.12.08//Authority Zero Show and other babble..

Well well hell. As always the first thing we have to do is say THANKS to all our friends and fans who made it out to the Authority Zero show at Rialto, and made it a fucking blast for us!! Sorry we didn't post the show on this website...does anyone even read this shit anyways??

Anyways, back to the You Apart world. We put up a couple of new songs on our myspace page titled 'turn the knife' and 'behind closed eyes', so peep them shits out. We play Hotel Congress on may 2nd for our friends Flagrante Delicto's CD release...we'll throw you some more info soon..until next time.

2.13.08//Album News, the good and the bad.

So how about the bad news first? The new album will be delayed until further notice. The good news? We are writing more music to make a full length CD instead of an EP. We decided 22 minutes of music just isn't enough, and we are writing some tasy material right now that really deseerves to be on the new disc, we will be writing for a bit and then recording the songs....eventually.

TONIGHT we play a free show at our favorite of drinking establishments, Che's Lounge, also featuring one of Tucson's finest rock bands, Blues. If you have an ID that says you're over 21 come to this show, it's gonna be redunk FA SHO!!!

12,10.07// What Hides in Dreams Anniversary, New Shows, Album Update (as usual)

So one year and a day ago we released our first independently released album 'What Hides in Dreams' on December 9th, 2006. That was by far the best show we ever played (until the release of our next CD!!). Coming up in the You Apart world is a couple new shows, one THIS FRIDAY at O'Malleys with our friends Ph8 and more. January 12th we will be playing a FREE SHOW at one of our favorite bars Che's Lounge with Blues (check em out) ...

11.02.07// CAGED SUPREMACY!!! New Music! New Commercial!!

What is up people?! We're excited to announce we will be headlining the Caged Supremacy event on December 9th at The Tucson Expo Center. There is going to be extreme sports demos, bands and MMA fights so get your ass out there! We are also playing another event on November 17th, a car and bike show at The Shelter. Check out shows section for all the info on both shows! Also, we are going to have our music on another TV commercial, and it is one of the new songs from our new album! The commercial is for the Caged Supremacy event so keep on the lookout for that one. So that is two, count em TWO TV commercials in southern Arizona our music is featured on! Takin over cable, bitches!!!!

I know you have heard this before but the new album is almost complete, it's gonna be worth the wait, trust us!

9.23.07// October 3rd w/ ALL THAT REMAINS!!! New Album Update! YOUAPART.COM IS BACK!!!

Never fear people, youapart.com is back for good after a month and a half hiatus! Lots of good things going on in the You Apart world these days! One of the best things going on for us right now is hopping on the All That Remains show on October 3rd at The Rock!!!! The show also features Protest The Hero, Too Pure To Die and The Acacia Strain. Tickets are $17 at the door, BUT if you get in contact with us we have tickets for $10. Also visit Hardcore 101's Park Mall location for tickets!

The new album is finally coming together, we are getting some really nice mixes back from the studio. We also have a great artist working on the art for the CD who is cranking out some amazing work!! We are hoping to get the CD in your hands late this year, expect a huge CD release show! We will also be filming at the CD release for our music video..we are still trying to figure out all the plans for that....that's all for now kiddies, see you soon!

7.31.07 // The Apex Theory, Album Update, Shows Shows Shows

Whatsup people, it's that time of the month again! We have some killer shows this coming month including local favorites' Chango Malo's CD Release at Club Congress, and opening for The Apex Theory at The Rock. Check our shows section for info on all of our upcoming shows!

We have completed tracking all of the music for our upcoming EP release and it sounds amazing! This album is a step up from our previous work, we are thinking you are going to enjoy it! We are about to bust into the mixing process...as always we will keep you updated. In the meantime, if you want to hear the new songs you are going to have to catch some of these great shows we have coming up...see you there!

6.26.07 // GO TO OUR SHOW JULY 13TH WITH ADEMA AT THE ROCK!!!!

You can check out all the info for the Adema show in our SHOWS section! So it's time for your monthly You Apart update kids, prepare to be spoon-fed some SHIT! First off we recorded a 55 second track titled 'The Jingle' that we made for our friends at HARDCORE 101. The song is going to be featured on their TV commercials and radio ads, it's the HARDCORE 101 Jingle GET IT??! Anyways you can hear the track now on MySpace, and it will be aired all over TV starting July.

However 'The Jingle' is just a taste of what is to come in the next few months. We are in the studio right now recording our new 6 song EP tenatively titled 'Turn the Knife'. Drum tracks are done and now we are working on laying down guitar tracks. Look for a CD release sometime when the weather starts cooling down..

We are going to be shooting a music video in late summer/ early fall and we are going to need YOU in the video!! We'll keep everyone posted as that approaches, it's gonna be sick! Also new girls tank tops are in so pick one up at one of our next shows!! That's all for now...thanks everyone!!

5.13.07 // Hello there again everyone! We are currently working out all the small details in our new songs and the actual recording time has been pushed back a few weeks, but rest assured we will be tracking soon! Big thanks to everyone who came out and helped us fuck it up at Fenderskirts this weekend, we will have video footage in the next couple weeks! 4.14.07 // We are going back to the studio to record a new 6 song EP!!! We plan to hit the studio in late April or early May, look for a new demo song in the near future! We'll keep you posted on our progress. Also we are going to make the music on a Hardcore 101 TV commercial that is going to be aired like crazy in the southern AZ area so keep on the look-out for that one! We have new press-on decals, grab one at he next show, also we are getting new tank tops for the girls! We wanna give a big thanks to everyone who showed up for the last shows recently, it's so good to see you all out there and we can't wait to see you again! So much has happened in the last few months, where do we start? 10.22.06 // Whatsup everybody?! Sorry for the delay on updating our site but we've been busy finishing the CD and playing shows! We have 4 shows coming up in the next 2 weeks so get out there and show some love, we have some new songs that are going to tear your face off!! The CD is finally complete and ready to be sent off to the printers and it looks and sounds sick!
